The chrometer allows the determination of the bending strength and breaking strength of both unfired and fired ceramic tiles, according to the UNI EN ISO 10545-4 standard.

Instrumental characteristics

The equipment consists of a base on which cylindrical support rollers are positioned; the central knife goes down, increasing the applied load, until the break. The instruments are versatile and allow to vary the applied pressure (up to 800Kg) the size of the specimen (fired up to 50cm)
