National projects

ISTEC, afferent to the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technologies (DSCTM) of CNR, and in agreement with the Department of Chemistry of the University of Padova, is co-holder of the PhD course in “Molecular Science“, starting from the XXXVI cycle (2020-2023).

ISTEC, in agreement with the Department of Chemistry of the University of Parma, is co-holder of the PhD course in “Science and Technology of Materials“, starting from the XXIX cycle (2014-2016).

ISTEC, in collaboration with several Italian Universities funds and co-funds Research Grants and Fellowships for PhD students in in the main sectors of interest.

 

International projects


SECOND.R.I.PROJECT Secondment for the development of Research Innovation in Biomaterial Rapid Prototyping : is a project funded by the H2020 European Programme, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE). The project aims to establish and support multidisciplinary and international sharing of knowledge and enable new professional skills for researcher and managerial staff enhancing potential innovation of the S&T research in rapid prototyping and biomaterials for bone tissue engineering.

VIVOIMAG: multimodal imaging of the in vivo fate of bone transplants

The main objective of VIVOIMAG is to develop bone implants and new contrast agents sensitive to the enzymatic activity of metalloproteases. VIVOIMAG is part of the international project of exchange of young researchers “RISE” which promotes international collaboration and the sharing of ideas and skills between research institutions and companies (especially SMEs) to foster scientific development and innovation technology.

SINCHEM: The European Doctoral Programme on Sustainable Industrial ChemistryM:

SINCHEM is a three year international joint Doctoral School in Sustainable Industrial Chemistry offered by a consortium of 33 partner institutions. Strong industrial links to major companies in the field are a key part of SINCHEM.

 EUCERMAT European Ceramic Materials : 

The aim of the project is to significantly contribute to changing the general opinion about ceramics materials in Europe developing innovative methods to teach ceramic science and technology in European universities and to communicate it to high school students and the general public.

International PhD training project on BIO-inspired bone reconstruction funded by the Marie Curie Action European Program

BIOTECH-MA  Teaching biotechnology for human health: from the bench to the market

The aim of the project is the creation of an international Master in Medical Biotechnology. It is coordinated by the University of Bologna, in collaboration with 4 European universities and the BIO Industry Park of Turin, a cluster of numerous companies in the BioTech sector.
