Materials for extreme applications
Researcher and head of the Electron Microscopy Lab. He is accredited to the group “New technologies for the environment, construction, industry and cultural heritage” but is transversally involved in projects and different research topics with other groups of this Institute and external realities. He has achieved experience in synthesis and shaping of structural and functional as well as oxidic and non-oxidic ceramics; currently he is mostly involved in microstructural-textural and microanalytical characterization on a range of materials, such as nanomaterials for environmental sensors and surface functionalization and for treatments on architectural and lapideous surfaces.
