PhD in Materials Science.  Researcher

Development of materials through biomimetic and eco-sustainable approaches by combining advanced manufacturing technologies (3D printing, freeze-drying, solvent casting) with biocompatible cross-linking processes for the design of injectable hydrogels and composite 3D matrices. These systems are customized to interface with cells of different phenotypes, with applications ranging from organoids for personalized therapies to the regeneration of both mineralized and non-mineralized tissues.

Furthermore, complex multilayer models, such as osteochondral systems, were designed and optimized for perfusion bioreactors and long-term co-cultures for drug testing.

Involved in national and international research projects as well as industrial collaborations. (H-index=20, citations>900 (Scopus)).
