Currently engaged in the synthesis and development of novel materials for application as electrocatalysts in the energy sector, particularly in solid oxide cells (SOCs), gas separation membranes, and biomass valorization. His research focuses on the exsolution process for the nanodecoration of ceramic oxides with metallic nanoparticles. Previous experience includes the synthesis of nanomaterials with antibacterial applications, water purification, and the functionalization of surfaces, adopting a Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach.
