Researchers and technical, administrative staff shaping the future of public research
A national assembly of the CNR community was held under the motto “Giving a voice back to the scientific community”, bringing together staff from all the research institutes across the country to address crucial issues for the future of public research.
The ISSMC participated with strong engagement from its personnel, reflecting a widespread commitment to defend and enhance the role of science in society.
The assembly gave voice to a research community that, despite operating under increasing structural, administrative, and project-related difficulties, continues to work with dedication and expertise in service of the country.
It emphasized for stable and strategic governance, greater involvement of research institutes in decision-making, and renewed recognition of public research as a strategic driver of Italy’s economic, social, and cultural progress.
